ConneXion is the annual gathering of the Wesleyan Methodist Church of Aotearoa-New Zealand. Join us for worship, celebration, equipping for missional fruitfulness and collective missional discernment. All welcome.

When: ConneXion opens on the evening of Thursday 5th November and concludes mid-afternoon on Saturday 7th November 2026.

Hosted By: National Church in partnership with East City Wesleyan, Saioni Wesleyan, Shore Grace and Youth Revival.

Where: All events are held at East City Wesleyan Church, 219 Burswood Drive, Botany, Auckland 2013.

Cost: Registration is FREE including all meals.

Overseas Guests: registration is $150NZD including all meals.

Registrations OPEN on Monday 17th August.

Theme

The theme for ConneXion is FLOURISH. The flowers in this logo are inspired by the many countries and regions represented across our churches. Together they form a picture of our multicultural community, flourishing as one body in Christ.

Programme

Thursday 5th November

7pm: ConneXion opening worship and Ordination service.

Who can attend?

Everyone is welcome.

Friday 6th November

8.30am - 4.30pm: National Conference Missional Discernment sessions.

Who can attend?

These sessions are mainly designed for Ministers and Church Lay Representatives. Others are welcome to observe Conference but are not able to participate in proceedings.

Friday 6th November

6pm: Whakapuawai Celebration Dinner

The meaning of Whakapuawai is 'to flourish'.

Who can attend?

All welcome. Please note to help us host everyone well, numbers are limited for the Whakapuawai celebration dinner with allocated seating.

Saturday 7th November

9am - 3.30pm: Keynote Sessions.

Who can attend?

All Welcome.

Bloom Childcare Programme

Parents - enjoy ConneXion while your children have a day full of games and activities in a safe and fun environment. Our programme is fully supervised and suitable for ages: 3 - 14 years old.

The downstairs creche area is available during the day for parents with young babies (2-year-olds and under). Please stay with your young child(ren) as creche is not supervised.

A FREE Programme
All Childcare Group Leaders and volunteers are safety checked and hold a current Police Vet.
A sign in and sign out procedure will be maintained throughout the day.
Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea is provided.
